Hi,
Seems like every time I write to you, I hear the next day that something I said is not permitted to be mentioned. The most harmless one I sent came back several days later because I forgot to sign the space for the censor’s stamp. I hope the others are going through OK. Yesterday I went to London with Williams + Janson heard the National Symph. Orch. play Brahms 4th Symph. + Tchaikovsky’s piano concerts in B minor with one Moura Lympany as soloist, also a couple of other shorter numbers. It was very good. Royal Albert Hall is rather like our Academy, but twice as big. The balcony railings + other flat surfaces are finished in blue + white + look just like Wedge wood china (light shade). Afterward we walked across Kensington Gardens + watched little boys + big ones sailing toy boats in a pond + running in after them in their bare feet, while we shivered in the breeze. The parks were full of Sunday strollers. My bedding roll just arrived + I think the foot lockers will be here later today.
Love B
